The second city I visited while my semester abroad was Vienna in Austria. I went with a group of people that ended up being the ones I hung out the most during the semester. It was around the beginning of March so It was still very cold but this gave the city a “magical” touch.
Vienna is a beautiful city, full of history in every corner but so modern and vibrant at the same time. I don’t think I’ve ever been to another city with so much beautiful architecture and art everywhere, it´s definitely a place you must visit in Europe!
That´s the Belvedere, a perfect example of the architecture you’ll find in Vienna. It happens to be a museum with a huge amount of art that if you have the money and time it´s worth visiting, but if not you can always walk in the beautiful palace gardens.
Another palace that you can’t miss is the Schonbrunn.
There´s also a little restaurant in which you can rest for a bit and take a break. You have to climb a little hill but the view it’s really cool and there’s also a little forest like part of the gardens that will make you feel like in a fairytale.
The restaurant is right there ^ How cool is that!?
Strolling around the city center you’ll find St. Stephen´s Cathedral.
Remember what I told you about the contrast between the old and the new? Well in the middle of the city center, surrounded by old buildings there’s a corner with modern ones.
Next stop is the Hofburg Palace which is the former imperial palace in the centre of the city.
Cool couple with a cool door (no, I don’t know the couple haha)
Keep walking and you´ll find Museumsquartier, where museums are duh
Two identical building one in front of the other, and then three other ones dedicated two modern art.
Vienna is a cultural hub so there’s art everywhere!
Also Vienna is full of churches. Beautiful churches everywhere.
Finally the Parliament!

A little piece of México in Vienna!
Vienna was truly a wonderful experience. I can´t wait to go back and learn a little more about this incredible city!
